Gabriel Amaral, 2nd-degree black belt under Carlson Gracie, has been training with the same team since childhood, preserving the authenticity and roots of true Jiu-Jitsu. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Gabriel witnessed and experienced the golden era of Jiu-Jitsu—living through the transition from the old school to the new generation. This unique journey greatly enhances his teaching, as he maintains the original Carlson Gracie lifestyle and philosophy.
Gabriel grew up in social projects related to Jiu-Jitsu until earning his blue belt, which shaped his deep connection to the art. Throughout his career, he achieved national and state titles in Brazil during the old school era. With 28 years of Jiu-Jitsu experience and 16 years dedicated to teaching and forming champions, Gabriel’s classes are a powerful blend of tradition, technique, and passion.
